Her celebration dinner for close friends and family was held at the Fire & Ice Protea Hotel in Menlyn - a set fit for this Queen!

CIU Launch {Event Photography}

Every now and again Elize Mare Photography gets to capture events for Corporate companies.
This was one such event with Lesira Teq's CIU launch at the Lesira Teq Manufacturing section in Pretoria.

It was a grand affair with selective guests in the Water Industry - as this product is aimed at the Water industry.

Shalane's Bridal Shower {Event Photography}

On Saturday Elize Mare Photography was part of the party at Shalane's Bridal Shower.

As it is tradition, since who knows when, a bride-to-be's bridal shower is to be a surprise event for the Bride.  Now this is quite difficult to arrange and keep a secret, when the bride is a photographer - busy schedules and being booked on most days (and weekends) called for the Bridesmaids to become a bit more creative with their thinking caps.... so a (fake) newborn shoot was booked and paid for to try and throw the bride-to-be off the tracks.... it was quite funny how she hinted and questioned everything, but in the end Shalane's bridal shower was kept a secret until she was fetched from home before she could leave for her studio... so well done to all involved.

The venue was a beautiful day spa, and everything was set up in the beautiful white room with loads of light and stunning table decor.
The theme was Denim & white, Lace & Pearls, and everyone was dressed to fit in.

It was a great morning with lots of laughter and a bit of tears, and Shalane was truly spoiled with all the love and gifts.

You are going to be one awesomely beautiful bride!
