21st Birthday Celebration {Event Photography}

This past Saturday Elize Mare Photography captured 21st Birthday Celebrations in Lonehill, Johannesburg.
Now being in SA, you never know what to expect and have to be ready for every situation as a photographer, and Saturday evening was no exception....

Just as we finished setting up our Photobooth for group images, the power went out.... yep, load shedding on stage 3! Which meant we could no longer use the studio set-up for the group shots... BUT luckily we have our strobe lights, which ensured we could still continue with the group images... and did we get some AMAZING images through the low-light situation with the fire outside and with the help of our strobe lights.

This is just a small selection:

a special thanks to my assistant and 2nd shooter for the evening, Angelique Jv Rensburg.

A Celebration

One of my 'older' clients, whom I met 2 years ago contacted me to come and capture some special memories for them at her husband's 40th Birthday Celebration.
We also did a Photobooth for them with props for some fun memories.
The venue was perfect for a cold winters evening, with fireplaces and loads of good company and some great tasting food.

I loved every minute of the evening, and met some of Allison's stunning friends, colleagues  and family.

This is just to give you a little 'sneak peek' of the awesome people of the evening.

Allison, may you be Blessed this year as never before!

Smash The Cake

Earlier in 2013 I sponsored a photo session as a prize on a FB page - mommy's had to answer some questions about my photography business, and stood in line to win.
Jani won the photo session for her 2 year old son, Alek - here is his session.

5oth Birthday Celebration

50th Birthday Celebration at The River Cabin.
The theme of the evening was Gaming Evening, with BlackJack and Roulette - even the kids enjoyed it!
