Kamo turns 1 {Birthday}

Kamo's birthday  was on 10 July ... a full 1 year old!  His parents decided what better way to spend a bit of time with him in Studio for a family shoot with Elize Mare Photography.

He was such a treat... full of smiles and giggles!

Your only 1 year old once {Cake Smash}

Eventhough Elize Mare Photography captured Christopher's 1st Birthday party last month, mommy also had an idea for a Farm themed shoot, with a bit of a cake smash.

Christopher looke super cute in his little denim pants and his check shirt, and the winter grass made for some great background with the blue and red colours we chose.

'Ohana' means Family {Family}

Elize Mare Photography met Dalene through a networking function, and it was a great honor for me when she booked her Family Photo Shoot with me.

The location we chose for their shoot is one very familiar in Pretoria, but people tend to think that it is not a 'nice' venue.... well I beg to differ!
The Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria has amazingly beautiful areas from rock features, animals, grasslands and an amazing view.

I really enjoyed capture some special memories for Dalene... these are just a few of my favorites.

Our Forever Story {Wedding Photography}

Lily and Miles have been celebrating their Wedding since December 2014 with getting married on a wine farm in the Cape winelands with Miles' family.  They then dressed in their Wedding attire again on 18th of January, on Lily's birthday, and celebrated their union with Lilly's Family with a high tea at a beautiful venue in Irene, and Elize Mare Photography had the opportunity to capture some very special memories....

And I'm sharing a few of my favorites....

Family is everything {Family Photography}

Late November 2014 Elize Mare Photography read a post on a Face book page called People who live in Centurion, about a dad who didn't have anything to give to his 13 year old daughter who's birthday it was that particular day, because they are going through a difficult time....

The post touched my heart and I immediately decided to make up a little birthday present consisting of a couple of things I though a teenager would want... BUT I also included a mini Family Photo shoot as this is the one gift that will be cherished by all and will be Never Forgotten.

There were other contributions from other people in the area as well, and it just showed me how the Centurion Community can stand together!
I believe this little girl had THE best 13th birthday ever!
